Hi i am Klaas, I live in the northeast part of the Netherlands near the City of Assen what is well-known for the famous Dutch TT Assen Motorcycle circuit.
In the 1980's I was active on the 11-meter band with my Ham international multimode 2.
After years of being absent, I picked up this great hobby again and in 2019 i started with a CRT 6900 and my call 19WAC3241.
In 2021 i joined the ClusterDX (the best decision ever) a world opened up for me, I made in year 2021 1200 contacts and could reach Australia from my home QTH, at a distance of 16000 km from here!
In the year 2022 i made 8250 contacts in 148 DXCC. This all was done with my vertical antenna the 'Sigma Mantova 8 turbo 5/8 wave', coil height 17 meters.
In 2023 I built a second mast with a 4 element Yagi in the top. I was able to make more than 10,500 contacts in 186 DXCC this year.
On march 1, 2024 I switched to the Lima Victor INT DX Group with my new call sign 19LV105.
I 'am working currently with the Yaesu FTdx 101D with HEIL pro 7 Headset, the Mantova 8 turbo Antenna and the 4 element Yagi beam(smartech) in to my second mast.
I love the 11-meter DX hobby with very nice contacts all over the world.

Above you see my qslcard. The large stones on the card are not just stones. They are called Hunnebedden or Dolmen and it is a grave that is more than 4500 years old.
In the province of Drenthe, 52 of these graves are known.
