Hello, im a new platinum member to ClusterDX. a little bit about me is. I'm 59 yrs. old and physically disabled. Before my disability i was heavy into radio back in the late 80's to the early 2000's and was a member of the Whiskey Alpha DX Group. to the best of my knowledge that group is no longer active. i had QSL card's that were designed by them that i would send out to all my contacts. as of February of 2023 i have gotten back into radio and resurrected my old Vintage Avanti pdl2 beam and have been enjoying making contacts all over the world. in December i was able to become a "World Radio Club" member and awarded my current working Call sign of 2WR0823. on January 16th. of 2024 i made a contact with an operator from Japan 25AT099 I Sam and he referred me to ClusterDX.[img][/img] |
