ABOUT ME:
My name is Ian and I live in the northern central part of Victoria Australia the area of my QTH is open flat level farmland.
I have been an operator on 11MT band since age 14 years with my first 23 channel AM radio which I did make to my first mobile portable station on my push bike with a car battery on the rear rack and a 5-foot helical whip Antenna, Radio mounted to the handlebars.
I am 58 years old now and have been operational with radio communications on and off throughout this time.
My setup now is in an old shipping container which I have setup as a small radio workshop for myself my Antenna is 8 meters from the ground.
I had been the Australian Director for the Lima Delta Group from Italy over 25 years ago and am now very proud to be part of the Voice Of Greece Dx Group with my good friend Jim, That’s about it for now always a pleasure to talk to different people around the world.
