digital mode sim31

Newbie Posts: 2 Joined: 25.04.19	hello, i'm 1od303 danilo. i ask , some people use digital mode sim 31 ? is similar at psk31 but all automatic. i use this mode on amateur band, but i believe is possible use on 27.245 , is choice by default of program . on goglle search sim 31 if are interested. best dx and peace from italy 1od303

Junior Member Posts: 12 Joined: 31.03.19	Hi Daniel, yes we use pskSim31 in 245 sometimes for experiment, its ok to use JS8call a AND sim 31 at the same time with wide beacon... sim is narrow too say in frequency + 1000 hz {------} and js8call is narrow say 150 hz {-) so can live together... only 4/5 operators play this mode but good operators... its very nice mode 100%

I have not found this on JS8 V2.1.1 yet and have been using JS8CALL since the 1st week when Jordan bought it out then it was called FT8CALL. When you set JS8 up with your call sign and grid location how does this change say if you qsy from 27.245 over to 40m 7.078 band the call and grid stays the same, please explain how you do this.
